Moments from the nature festival “In the Middle of the Woods”
On April 4-5, the festival “In the Middle of the Woods” took place in Dzukija National Park. For the event, nature lovers flocked together in 8 degree weather and opened up the camping season in the legendary Cepkeliai Wetlands. Exceptional experiences were shared together throughout the day and into the night: photography sessions in the fresh air, field trips through the Cepkeliai marsh, presentations by naturalist E. Drobelis about his book “In the Middle of the Woods”, Dzukian delicacy markets, nightlife in the woods, sounds of cranes, frosted tents, and steaming forests.
